How does it work?
It's easy. Start the process by emailing me and telling me a little about your project. We'll set up an initial meeting in your home to go over a style questionnaire, discuss your space, and take some basic measurements. This is also when you'll show me your amazing Pinterest boards and inspiration photos. Once your invoice is paid, I'll start the design.
About halfway through the project, I'll email you a Sneak Peek of 5-7 items for you to approve. This ensures that we're on the same page and it also gives you a chance to update me on anything you want to add to the final design.
My normal turnaround time for a Full Service Design Package is 10 business days, and a Design Inspiration Package is 5 business days. We'll meet in your home a second time to discuss the final design and its implementation, and all files will be emailed to you, too.
Can I get my design faster than that?
Unfortunately, no. I want your room to be exactly what you need, not a wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am design that I threw together in an hour. Great solutions take time and I want you to love your new space.
Why should I get a design package?
1. You can work at your own pace. Once I give you the final design, you can implement the changes immediately or buy things over time. You can also use exactly what I send you, or use my ideas as a jumping off point. You're the boss!
2. It's affordable. Hiring a designer by the hour can add up fast, especially if you want help with an entire project. Working together through a design package is a great way to get the help of a professional for a fraction of the cost.
Why are the in-home packages more expensive than the e-designs?
Because they simply take more time. Meeting face-to-face (plus travel time!) just takes longer than reading emails. The in-home packages also come with color swatches and paint samples, unlike the e-designs, and can take a while to gather. I want your room to be done right, not done fast.
